On Saturday 2nd of March, Young Scholars spent a rainy day at the Health Science Campus. Students in Years 5-6 used arts and crafts to learn new physics concepts and the process of Scientific Inquiry. ‘My favourite part was making the aeroplanes. I have never been to a workshop before and it was really fun,’ (Liam). Years 7-9 Young Scholars engaged in innovative learning styles with the use of iPads taking part in a highly challenging statistics workshop. Former Young Scholars and current Health Sciences Academy students were fantastic mentors on the day.
