QASMT students welcome Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to QUT Science and Engineering Centre

Twenty-five QASMT students had the pleasure of hosting the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi at QUT on Friday 14 November. As part of his G20 visit, Mr Modi took the time to acknowledge the importance of research  in Science as ‘the mother of invention’. QASMT students were able to showcase the fabulous ‘Cube’ facility at QUT and freely mingle and talk to the Prime Minister. Year 10 student, Ishan Joshi, had the opportunity to give Mr Modi a personal letter and several students appeared in a number of ‘selfies’ that the Indian Prime Minister posted about his visit.
