We are proud to congratulate Queensland Academies Health Sciences graduate Molly Jackson (Class of 2011) who was recently awarded a prestigious New Colombo Plan Scholarship to study at leading universities in Singapore, Hong Kong and China.
A Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Government and International Relations student at Griffith University, Molly was presented with her award by the Minister for Foreign Affairs Julie Bishop.
Molly will spend two semesters at Hong Kong University as part of her scholarship, and will then attend Peking University in China to research investment protection and learn Mandarin. She also has plans to study the effects of climate change on planned migrations of Pacific Island Peoples for three months in Kiribati.

The New Colombo Plan is a signature initiative of the Australian Government which aims to lift knowledge of the Indo Pacific in Australia by supporting Australian undergraduates to study and undertake internships in the region.
