Creativity at Queensland Academies

The Queensland Academies community values creativity in all its forms. As IB learners- we place importance on the ability to perceive the world in new ways, to find hidden patterns, to make connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena, and to generate solutions.

Students in the Brilliant Futures Gold Coast Program recently came together at the Queensland Academies Health Sciences campus to work in partnership with Griffith University to collaborate in the design, construction and testing of a model wind turbine. Click here to read more

The Queensland Academies Creative Industries Campus Music Department is showcasing their Under the Northern Lights: A Creative Ensembles Showcase on Monday May 21 at 7pm. This features their String Ensemble, Percussion Ensembles, Stage Band and self-directed ensembles playing the music of Björk, Olafur Arnolds, Edvard Greig and of course ABBA! Click here to read more
