Recently 94 students from Queensland Academy for Science Mathematics and Technology completed the Computational & Algorithmic Thinking 2018 (CAT) competition organised by the Australian Mathematics Trust. Several students from the Queensland Academies Health Sciences campus engaged in a day of thinking and exploring multiple perspectives at the Gifted and Talented Student Conference as part of National Gifted Education Week. Queensland Academies Creative Industries students were given the opportunity to be involved in the Creative Generation – State Schools Onstage which allowed students to perform in a professional external performance with like-minded peers of their talent and skill.
