Queensland Academy for Science Mathematics and Technology

Alexandra has attended the Science, Mathematics & Technology Campus for the last three years. During her time at QA, she maintained a strong commitment to both sporting and academic pursuits. Alexandra represented Australia in the International Linguistics Olympiad in Manchester. She also represented the Academies as a recipient of the Toowong Campus International Baccalaureate Award in 2012 for outstanding academic results and service to community and school. This award recognises the student who most embodies the values of the IB learner profile including such attributes as inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk takers, balanced, reflective. Alex demonstrates these attributes in everything she does, she is a committed young woman who believes through intercultural understanding we can create a peaceful world.
