How to apply - International students
International students must apply through On-time applications processes.
We are accepting applications now for Year 10 in 2027.
- Select your chosen Academy: QACI, QAHS or QASMT (You can only apply to one Queensland Academy for a given year of entry)
- Check the EQI application close dates below
- Submit an EQI Application
- Wait. EQI will inform Queensland Academies when you have an approved EQI application.
- Queensland Academies will then contact you and invite you to submit an application directly to Queensland Academies.

Fees
Application Fees:
- The Queensland Academies On-time application fee for entry into Year 10 in 2027 is $270, which includes the on-campus Entrance Test conducted by independent testing body, Edutest.
- If you need to sit the Entrance Test remotely (interstate or overseas), Edutest has a Remote Testing Service for an additional fee (remote testing venues may also charge a separate fee for use of the venue and service): refer to Edutest's Remote Testing Service eligibility before you lodge your application.
- Refund policy: All application fees are final and non-refundable. This includes where: an application is withdrawn; an application is submitted with incorrect information; an application is unsuccessful; an application is submitted in error, or for the wrong program; an application is submitted for a candidate who is not eligible to apply for that program; a Mid-course entry application where the Principal determines course continuity is not possible; a successful application where the candidate is unable to commence studies on the offered commencement date; an applicant is unable to complete the application process.

Applicants must read and understand the Year 10 Admissions Policy, Entrance Test policy and Refund policy (see Application fees, above) before submitting an application. You must also accept that we do not provide Entrance Test results, parent reports, or individual feedback. You can only pay for and submit your application after you have confirmed in your application that you have read, understood and accept these policies.
